Looking to add a rumour for Forrest and Best, the two Drift compatible Crabs who pilot the crab mech that is Forrest Best.

This is mostly pathing together other IRM entries to create space for Forrest Mech to have it's own page, since it didn't pair well with any existing ones!

Full entry is here, with the new text being the "Origins" section

Origins

Forrest Best appears to be a living marionette almost entirely made of an indeterminate species of wood, the notable exception being the four large crab legs protruding from Best's back. These legs appear to be exactly the same as a regular crab leg, though slightly larger than average. It is a little known fact however that Forrest Best is actually two Drift-compatible crabs named Forrest and Best, piloting the mannequin-crab suit as a mecha.

On Siestas and in other rare moments of rest, Forrest Best can be seen standing in a remote cranny of the crabitat or curled up and perched atop a rafter, quiescent if not totally unresponsive. This is because, at such times, the two tiny crabs who pilot the greater body are absent, gathering food or taking in the moonlight & seawater on their carapaces. They are said to be psychically linked to act as one, with one preferring to bat and one preferring to pitch. They are both however equally proficient at crime.

[Run, Forrest, Run]

Following the sweeping blessings offered to the Baltimore Crabs following the Season 5 decrees, Forrest quickly climbed the ladder to gain the ranking of one of the strongest base-stealing players in the ILB.

This has been widely accredited to a new form of baserunning invented by and seemingly exclusive to him; utilizing his psychic blood and back-mounted crab legs in order to violently fling his wooden body.

The combined might of crab strength and telekinetic power allows him to ragdoll between bases at incredible speeds, often resulting in consecutive base steals and a rousing chant of "Run, Forrest, Run!" from the stands.

Crab fans have widely speculated whether his newfound thirst for bases might imply grief regarding Combs Duende's death. Forrest, typically for him, has not spoken out regarding this.

Criminal History

As a part of the Interviews performed in season 4 it was revealed that Forrest Best's pregame ritual is 'doing crime'. Forrest has not commented on the nature of these crimes though there is speculation that it has been involved in a recent string of cybercrimes that began in Season 8, coincidently directly after Luis Acededo was traded to the team. While neither Forrest or Luis have made any comments on the allegations, Crypton Fluture Media has put out a statement condemning these rumours as patently false. Internal documents have however revealed that CFM has made significant investments in their own cyber security infrastructure since this trade, which has lead to further speculation that recent leaks of company data may not have been an "employee error" as they have previously claimed.
