Official Rulebook

1. The Season

a. Seasons are composed of Days. Every Day of Blaseball shall last one REDACTED hour.

b. Each Season should last two REDACTED weeks.

c. A Season of Blaseball consists of a Regular Season, a Midseason Fiesta, a Postseason, and a number of Elections.

d. Each Team shall play 162 Games in the Regular Season.

e. If any Games last longer than one REDACTED hour, a Spillover shall occur, and all Games shall be delayed until the next REDACTED hour. In the case of a Game lasting two REDACTED hours, the entire Season should be REDACTED and both Teams should be REDACTED for REDACTED.

f. Barring REDACTED the first 84 Games of the Season shall be played in the first REDACTED week, between "Monday" and "Friday".

g. The final 78 Games of the Regular Season shall be played in the second REDACTED week, between "Monday" and "Friday".

h. In the Regular Season, Teams compete for position in the Standings. REDACTED.

i. Standings in Blaseball shall be decided by two factors: Wins and Favor. The Team with the higher number of Wins shall be considered higher in the Standings. If two Teams have the same number of Wins, the tie-breaker will be decided by their positions on the Favor list.

j. Teams collect Wins throughout each Regular Season by having a higher score than their opponent at the conclusion of a Game. Wins are REDACTED.

k. Prize Matches: A Prize Match will be played every fourth REDACTED hour of the Regular Season. In a Prize Match, 2 random Teams are selected to face off. Instead of earning a Win, the winning Team will receive a Prize.

l. Title Matches: Once the Title Belt has been claimed, a Title Match will be played every fourth REDACTED hour of the Regular Season, replacing Prize Matches. In a Title Match, the Belt Wielder will face a randomly selected Bottom 12 Team. The winner of the Match claims the Title Belt.

2. The Midseason Fiesta

a. On "Saturday" following the first REDACTED week of the Season, a Tournament will take place, called the Midseason Fiesta.

b. The Bottom 12 Teams are selected to participate in the Midseason Fiesta. The Bottom 12 is comprised of the 2 Teams with the fewest Wins from each Division, plus the 4 remaining Teams with the next fewest across the whole League.

c. Each Round of the Midseason Fiesta will be a best 2 out of 3 series.

d. All 12 Teams will be placed in Party Time and Enhanced Party Time will be active during the Tournament. Participating Teams will receive Party boosts. The longer Teams remain in the Tournament, the more they will Party.

e. The winner of the Midseason Fiesta will receive the Title Belt.

3. The Postseason

a. Each Season of Blaseball shall conclude with a Postseason tournament.

b. Each Postseason shall consist of 10 total Teams.

c. The 2 Division Winners from each Conference will receive a Postseason Birth.

d. The next 2 Runners Up in the Standings from each Conference will receive a Postseason Birth, regardless of Division.

e. Wild Card: One additional Team from each Conference will be randomly selected to receive a Postseason Birth.

f. Title Belt Amendment: If the Title Belt Wielder is not selected for the Postseason via the standard rules, they will replace the lowest seeded Team in their Conference in the Postseason Bracket.

g. All Postseason Teams will be seeded 1 through 5 in their Conference according to Regular Season Standings.

h. The first two Rounds of the Postseason will be best 2 out of 3 series. The final two Rounds of the Postseason will be best 3 out of 5 series.

i. Postseason series are decided when, at the conclusion of a Game, a Team has reached the specified Win count, and has more Wins than their opponent.

j. The Home Team in each Postseason Game shall be the REDACTED if REDACTED.

k. The first Round shall be played on "Friday" of the second REDACTED week of the Season.

l. The remaining 3 Rounds shall be played on "Saturday" of the second REDACTED week of the Season.

m. The winner of the Final Round, the Internet Series, shall be crowned the Season Champion.

4. Elections

a. Fans shall be allowed to change Blaseball by Voting in Elections.

b. Each Season, a number of Elections shall be run. In an Election, a Ballot is drafted, Votes are cast, and Results are decided.

c. For each Election, a Ballot is drafted by REDACTED. REDACTED amend REDACTED.

d. Fans may cast Votes any time between Publication of the Ballot and the Closing of the Pools

e. Results shall be decided and Certified immediately after the Closing of the Polls.

f. Certification of the final Election marks the end of a Season.

5. Betting

a. Fans shall be allowed to Bet on Blaseball to earn Votes.

b. Betting should be REDACTED in the image of REDACTED.

c. Fans should be allowed to Bet REDACTED Game Winners, Season Champions, REDACTED and REDACTED.

d. Each Season, Fans may place a Champion Bet. In the event of Doubt, Fans may cancel their Bet and place a new Champion Bet before commencement of the Postseason.

e. Season Champion payouts decrease as the Season progresses. As Clarity increases, payouts decrease.

f. Each Blaseball Day, Fans may place one Game Winners Bet. In the event of Doubt, Fans may cancel and place a new Bet before that Day’s Games begin.

g. If the thrill of picking a single Game Winner is not enough to REDACTED Combos shall be allowed.

h. All Teams selected for a Combo must win their respective Game in order for the Bet to payout. If any of the selected Teams lose, the payout shall be nothing.

i. Risk is a Virtue and REDACTED. The larger the Risk, the larger the payout.

6. The League

a. A REDACTED Blaseball contains a single binding League. Within this League, all Play shall occur. The League shall be named the Internet League.

b. A League of Blaseball shall consist of two opposing Conferences. In the Internet League, the two Conferences shall be named Uptempo and Downtempo.

c. A Conference of Blaseball shall consist of two opposing Divisions. The Uptempo Conference shall be split into the Bop and Jam Divisions, while the Downtempo Conference shall be split into the Ballad and Dirge Divisions.

d. A Division of Blaseball shall consist of six REDACTED Teams.

e. Each Team shall have a name and a slogan.

f. Each Team shall be comprised of Players and REDACTED.

g. The Players on a Team are organized into three Locations: A Rotation REDACTED a Lineup REDACTED and a Shadows REDACTED.

h. REDACTED may play the Game REDACTED.

i. Players are composed of REDACTED.

j. From each Player REDACTED Soulscream, REDACTED.

k. Players may have REDACTED Blood Types, Coffee Types, Rituals, REDACTED Vibes, Items, Fates REDACTED.

7. The Game

a. The Game of Blaseball should be played between two Teams.

b. Each Game should take place on the Immaterial Plane.

c. Each Game shall have a Weather condition, chosen by REDACTED. Each Weather condition may cause lasting changes.

d. For each Game, Pitchers shall be chosen from each Team's Rotation.

e. The two Teams shall alternate playing Offense and Defense. On Offense, a Team's Lineup shall REDACTED and on Defense, a Team's Lineup shall REDACTED.

f. The Pitcher must throw the ball REDACTED unless REDACTED.

g. Pitches are REDACTED. If a Pitch strikes REDACTED it becomes a strike. If the Pitch fails to strike REDACTED it REDACTED becomes a ball.

h. If the ball is batted into play, REDACTED.REDACTED Immaterial Plane REDACTED unfathomable.

i. Shame Phase: If the home team scores the winning run in the bottom of the final inning, the away team must complete the game in shame, despite being mathematically eliminated.

j. The Team with the most Runs at the end of each Game will collect a REDACTED Win.
