Through the Library it was revealed that under certain circumstances rouge umpires could incinerate not only players, but entire teams. The following article describes the details of what teams were incinerated, as well as the circumstances leading to those incinerations both in Pre-History and in Season β24

Prehistory

Season A

The Election

The history of team incinerations began in the Season A election when the Antarctic Fireballs Hexed Parker MacMillan with the Firewalker modification and the Hawai'i Fridays Hexed MacMillan with the  Non-Profit modification.

In the subsequent games, the Library shows several messages of You receiving no coins from MacMillan’s hits due to their modifications.

Season B

The Election

In the Season B election The Alaskan Immortals Revoked Parker MacMillan, giving them the  Roamin' modification, leaving the Immortals  Unstable, and causing MacMillan to roam to the Canada Artists.

Season C

The Alaskan Immortals

On Day 8 of Season C the Alaskan Immortals played the Phoenix Trunks during a Solar Eclipse and were incinerated by a Rogue Umpire chaining the Instability to the Trunks.

The Immortals were replaced by the Downward Dogs

The Election

In the Season C Election The Canada Artists Revoked Parker MacMillan, granting MacMillan the  On an Odyssey modification causing the Artists to become unstable for the first week of Season D, and causing MacMillan to Roam to the Oregon Psychics.

Season D

The Canadian Artists

On Day 3 of Season D the Canada Artists played the Maryland Squirrels during a Solar Eclipse and were incinerated by a Rogue Umpire chaining the instability to the Squirrels.

The Artists were replaced by the Topeka Moist Talkers.

  • Due to Agan Espinoza's  Fire Protector modification they were the only player to be incinerated with the team – the other Artists players instead being transferred over to the Artists' replacement team, the Topeka Moist Talkers.

The Election

In the Season D Election the Oregon Psychics revoked Parker Macmillan, granting MacMillan the  Super Roamin' modification, causing the Psychics to become Unstable for the first week of Season D, and causing Macmillan to Super Roam to the Minneapolis Truckers.

Season E

A Traitor

While MacMillan should have been contained on the Truckers, on Day 9 of Season E, teammate Megan Ito traded their broken Metaphorical Sunglasses for Parker MacMillan's The Force Field once again leaving them free to roam, which they did immediately causing the Truckers to become unstable.

The Minneapolis Truckers

On Day 13 of Season E the Minneapolis Truckers played the New York Millennialsduring a Solar Eclipse and were incinerated by a Rogue Umpire, chaining their instability to the Millennials.

The Truckers were replaced by the Boulders Bay Birds.

  • Due to their  Force modification Megan Ito was caught in a paradox being unable to be removed Truckers and unable to be moved to the Hall of Flame with the Truckers. As a result Ito was forced to drop the forcefield and their alternate was called. The New Megan Ito was saved from the incineration and joined the Birds.

The Antarctic Fireballs

On Day 77 of Season E the Antarctic Fireballs played an unknown team during a Solar Eclipse and were incinerated by a Rouge Umpire, chaining their instability to their opponents.

The Fireballs were replaced by the Chicago Firefighters

Other Team Incinerations

While their incinerations have not been revealed in the Library, the presence of the following teams in the Hall of Flames indicates that at some point they too were incinerated;

The Modern ILB

In Season β24 of Internet League Blaseball The Force Field was stolen from Parker MacMillan by New Megan Ito during the Semi-Centennial, Macmillan was once again able to super roam out of the vault and into the ILB causing new opportunities for teams to become unstable.

Additionally the Semi-Centennial created the Supernova and resulting Supernova Eclipse, allowing teams to be incinerated even without the need to be unstable.

Season 24

Kansas City Breath Mints

On Season 24 Day 3, the Kansas City Breath Mints played the Philly Pies under a Super Nova Eclipse and were incinerated by a Rouge Umpire. Notably the Mints were not unstable, making this the first example of a non-unstable team incineration.

The Mints were replaced by the Oxford Paws.

After play ended, the Monitor appeared and delivered the following message:

the breath mints
follow me
take a break
beat the heat
in the trench
it's cool there
oh and pudge
door's always open

Hawai’i Fridays

On Season 24 Day 12 the Hawai'i Fridays played the Baltimore Crabs under a Supernova Eclipse and were incinerated by a Rouge Umpire, chaining their instability to the Crabs.

Due to the Fridays'  Squiddish modification, they were replaced by the Carolina Queens.

After play ended, the Monitor appeared and delivered the following message:

hey
it's island time
come with me
to the trench
the vibes are right

Soon after the Coin also appeared and delivered the following message:

It is Island Time!
