This page needs to be revamped but I'm not sure how. I don't know if I appreciate the mix of the government structure segments being a mix of "this is how the government is run" and also "lol they like to vibe" for essentially a real-world location, even if it's a fictionalized version, and personally I'm a big fan of withholding details in storytelling, so I'm not sure many of the specific intrinsic details really help the vibe of the page, especially some of the weirdly specific parts about how the government is purported to run.

I have been frustrated with this article for the past two years without really knowing how to address it. Blaseball fan lore is not an appropriate place to speculate about a post-colonial Hawaiʻi. Whoever wrote this failed to acknowledge any of the nuances surrounding the real Hawaiʻi or the implications of what they were saying. The specific combination of tone and details, especially as written by someone who probably did not have much prior knowledge of Hawaiian history, culture, or any other relevant field, seems almost insensitive. It also does not match more recent understanding of the Sovereign Nation of Hawaiʻi in other fan projects (not to knock open interpretation as a concept, just this particular misalignment of vibes), where focus on this fictional portion of Hawaiʻi centers more on the temporal abnormality of Perpetual Fridays and vibes as team-specific culture. Most of the information contained in this article just isn't relevant to the current Fridays fan culture.

(Apologies if I come off as too snippy; I have resented the existence of this article for two years and I think change is overdue and welcome.)

I've removed many of the problem points that I noticed. There still needs to be work done in the article, I still have a lot of issues with the page content, but this is I think a better start than the revision it was before. I'm not convinced we need to keep the Economy or Political Structure sections (and my current draft of the page I have, stored off-wiki, uses those sections for a cheap gag I don't think would actually fit on the wiki), but it does serve as nice padding to make it seem more fleshed out.
