Sutton Picklestein was a lineup player for the Boston Flowers, and was with the team from the ILB Semi-Centennial until Fall Ball. Picklestein has previously played for the Yellowstone Magic and Rising Stars.

Official League Records

Picklestein joined the ILB as a lineup player for the Yellowstone Magic with the Return of Blaseball.

Picklestein was a league leader in stolen bases in Season 2, along with teammate Washer Barajas, both scoring 12 steals.

During a game against the Mexico City Wild Wings on Season β6, Day 38, Picklestein swallowed a peanut and had an allergic reaction which reduced their batting and defense stats dramatically.

On Season β7, Day 47, Picklestein siphoned some of Mexico City Wild Wings batter Miguel Wheeler's hitting ability in a game with Blooddrain weather.

On Season β13, Day 13, Picklestein was incinerated and replaced by Kurt Crueller.

On Season β13, Day 99, Picklestein was named an MVP and gained the Ego+ modification. During the Season β13 Elections, Picklestein was Plundered by the Boston Flowers, sending Castillo Turner to the Shadows, then Plundered a second time by the Kansas City Breath Mints, sending Lenny Spruce to the Flowers. However, after the Wills were all filed, the Returned modification activated, forcing Picklestein immediately back into the Hall of Flame.

During the ILB Semi-Centennial, Picklestein played for the Rising Stars. Picklestein then fell to the Boston Flowers as a lineup player.

Box of Sutton Picklestein Files

Dust billows as the file box lands on the table. While many archives in the Interdimensional Rumor Mill are unified in some way, this... definitely isn’t one of them. The accompanying Rumor Registry explains all of the contents... wherever it is... but for now you grab the folder labelled IF-13.1.12-D and start reading...

Ornithomantic Assignation

A scrap of faded parchment is inscribed in fresh ink by the Augur's hand.

A collection of these notes was located in a file cabinet within the Yellowstone National Park Ballpark offices, all sharing a similar handwriting and purpose. Each note describes a member of the Yellowstone Magic, in synchronicity with a known reality counterpart, but as a particular species of bird. It remains unclear why the Augur is scrying these particular ornithomancies and what purpose they may serve, but the findings are dutifully recorded and cataloged when new ones are discovered.

Scrying target: Sutton Picklestein (Magic lineup, energy being?)

Ornithomantic assignation: red-tailed hawk (Buteo jamaicensis) - widespread range, many distinct plumage variations. Do not mistake ubiquity with mundanity!

Appearance is consistent with leucism (reduction of pigmentation), with the exception of eyes (should be blue; leucism does not confer glowing eyes!) and an all-encompassing corona of indeterminate energy - effect on plumage appearance is akin to sun-induced bleaching, but appears to come from within(?) - distinct greenish-yellow tinge, source unclear. Strong aroma of dill associated (expected).

Individual is otherwise unremarkable. Reserved, yet communicating a rather ebullient air. I have found my spirits lifted by even the briefest observation. I have also found it difficult to shed the glowing afterimage of the individual - strong residual energies (!!!)

Relation to Owen Picklestein? -unable to confirm (outside of scrying range. pity.)

Arachismic-legumic reactivity: poor. One known report from Season β6 resulting in deficit in defense and hitting. (consistent)

Sanguinicity: siphon recipient of a portion of Miguel Wheeler's hitting. Noted improvement in Season β7. (consistent!)

Migration status: nonmigratory (as of yet)

Ley line attunement: well grounded (??)

This one bears follow up, if only to properly discern precise energy signatures. I'm not sure-

The parchment is torn beyond those words.

Time with the Flowers

Landing on the Flowers

Following their resurrection and the ILB Semi-Centennial Picklestein fell to the Boston Flowers.

The spirit of the the Flowers Ballpark, the Garden is often possessive and protective. Given the Flowers previous short-lived resurrection attempt it is believed that the Garden may have influenced where Sutton Picklestein landed following the Semi-Centennial, wishing to possess or protect them, potentially due to their relationship with Owen Picklestein.

Rest & Relaxation

Since landing on the Flowers, Sutton Picklestein has enjoyed spending their time off the field with their family member, Owen Picklestein.
