Notable Events

New Editions

Before play began in Season 18, Ownership announced that Chorby Soul was to be Preserved and gained the Legendary modification.

The construction of the Library was completed, as per the passing of the Library decree, allowing Fans to view Lōotcrates's Collections from the Ancient Histories of Blaseball. The Collections are mostly redacted, though there were new insights contained in the First Day, 1st Edition.

The Gift Shop also appeared, giving the Teams an opportunity to help one another by giving Gifts. Gift Shop participation opens during the Earlsiesta, remains open through the Midseason, and gifts will be given every Latesiesta.

The Fairgrounds decree caused some matches to randomly become Prize Matches. When a Prize Match is announced, an Item is determined to be the prize for a player on the winning team of that match. The first Prize Match took place on Season 18, Day 7 when the Baltimore Crabs defeated the San Francisco Lovers at the Polyhedron, 9-2. Jon Halifax of the Crabs was awarded a

for the victory.

During the Season 17 Latesiesta, several Teams built the Hotel Motel Ballpark Renovation. Some Innings in the Earlseason have a chance of becoming Holiday Innings, in which instead of Scoring, scoring Players will instead Party. Mint Shupe of the San Francisco Lovers was the first player to Party during a Holiday Inning on Season 18, Day 7.

On Season 18, Day 12, a match between the Miami Dale and the Ohio Worms broke the record for the longest game played in Blaseball by length of time, clocking in at 67 minutes and 53 seconds, playing for 24 innings and triggering Spillover. The previous record had stood since Day 99 of Season 4, after a 65-minute game between the Boston Flowers and the Unlimited Tacos.

Ongoing Decrees

• Eat The Rich (Season 3): Funds from the top 1% of coin-havers will be redistributed to the remainder of Fans at the end of the postseason. This decree will remain in effect indefinitely.
• Enhanced Party Time (Season 6): When a team is in Party Time -- mathematically eliminated from the postseason -- they'll have a chance of receiving random permanent stat boosts during their games.
• Wild Cards (Season 8): Every Season, a random team from each Subleague will leave Party Time to become the 5th Playoff team. A first-to-two-wins Wild Card series will happen on Fridays.
• Based Evolution (Season 12): Every Third Championship a Team wins will cause the Team and its Players to Evolve. Players that round the phylogenic Bases will get to go Home.
• Free Wills (Season 13): Teams that finish in the Bottom 4 of the League will receive an extra Will in that Season's Election.
• All You Can Eat (Season 14): Fans will be able to freely buy and sell Snack Slots at any time. The less Snack slots the Fan owns, the higher the payout for the Snacks in them.
• Community Chest (Season 16): Anytime 3000 Runs are accumulated league-wide, every Team will receive an Item Crate for a random active Player on their Team.
• Fairgrounds (Season 17): All games have a chance of being Prize Matches, in which the winning Team will open an Item Crate.

Postseason

Four teams from each league advance to the post season: the winners of each division, and the next two best teams by total wins. As of Season 5, teams alternate home games with the higher seed hosting first. As of Season 9, a fifth team is chosen at random as a Wild Card. The Wild Card games are a first-to-two series while every other round is a first-to-three series.

Each team is allowed to execute two wills per season.

Alternate Trust	Call in an Alternate for a Player on your Team, with a mystery Benefit.

Blessings

Each blessing will be awarded to a randomly selected player or team based. Votes from a team's fans increase the likelihood of that team receiving a blessing.

Musclitude Patches	Boost the Musclitude of the Player on your Team with the lowest of the stat by 8%. Repeat 3 Times.
Moxie Patches	Boost the Moxie of the Player on your Team with the lowest of the stat by 8%. Repeat 3 Times.
Cinnamon Roll	Re-roll the Cinnamon of the 3 Lowest Cinnamon Players in your Lineup.
Pressure Re-Cooker	Re-roll the Pressurization of the 3 Lowest Pressurization Players on your Team.
Quenched	Increase Team Basethirst by 10%
Yo... Hitter?	Move your worst Pitcher to Lead-Off in your Lineup.
Cape of Containment	A random Player on your Team's active roster will receive a Cape of Containment.
Bon Voyage	Give your Team Good Riddance. Throw a Party when a Roamin' or Super Roamin' Player leaves your Team.
Graphene	Rebuild your Ballpark's Fortifications with Graphene, making them weigh 5% the eDensity they normally would.
Open Floor Plan	Rearrange your Ballpark into an Open Floor Plan, making the Grandiosity weigh 5% the eDensity it normally would.

Reverb Shuffles

When any team is in a game during Reverb weather, there is a chance that some portion of their roster will get shuffled. Reverb can change the order of the lineup, rotation, or the whole team.
