For the Preserved pitcher, see Pitching Machine.

Pitching Machine was a player in the Shadows for the New York Millennials, and was with the team from Season β22, Day 13 until Fall Ball.

Official League Records

Machine joined the ILB as a pitcher for the New York Millennials on Season β22, Day 13. While Schneider Bendie and Sandie Carver were  Elsewhere..., Theodore Cervantes, the only remaining Millennials pitcher, was sent to the Shadows by New York, New York Arena, Arena's Fax Machine on Day 12 and replaced by Anathema Elemefayo. As Elemefayo was also  Elsewhere... when being sent to the Shadows initially, this left the Millennials no pitchers able to play, and Machine was added to their rotation to fill the role.

On Season 22, Day 13, Machine retreated to the Shadows in exchange for Theodore Cervantes via New York, New York Arena, Arena's Fax Machine.

Biography

"Lil' Pitchy," as the Millennials call it, first appeared on Season β22, Day 13. A Mills Blue roomba with googly eyes and a knife taped to it chirped and whirred onto the mound against the Hawai'i Fridays. Beck Whitney would send Lil' Pitchy back into the Fax Machine in exchange for Theodore Cervantes in an event sometimes referred to as "Beck Whitney faxed a baby".

While most of the Millennials' Rotation was still  Elsewhere... for the time being, Cervantes took great care of its new child. Some say Lil' Pitchy's other parent was the Fax Machine of Battin' Island, though it seemed impolite to delve deeply about it. Once the Fax Machine was Nullified in Season β24, Cervantes and Lil' Pitchy wanted to be left alone for a while.
