Box of Lottie Ceilingfan Files

Dust billows as the file box lands on the table. While many archives in the Interdimensional Rumor Mill are unified in some way, this... definitely isn’t one of them. The accompanying Rumor Registry explains all of the contents... wherever it is... but for now you grab the folder labelled IF-12.53 and start reading...

Lottie Ceilingfan is a cat, presumably. Tigers management can confirm she is at least the front half of a cat. However, Ceilingfan only and exclusively emerges from a moveable hole in the ceiling of Sixth Circle Stadium, and never completely, so her back half has never been seen. Ceilingfan is usually upside down, hanging from the roof like a bat, regardless of wether or not there is an existing ceiling. Occasionally, she has been seen batting from floor-holes but appears extremely displeased while doing so. As of date, no one has entered or seen the inside of the ceiling hole and lived.

Ceilingfan appeared shortly after season 21, when she wandered onto the field, tiny bat already in paw. When the team was asked why a cat was currently taking swings at the practice cage, pitcher Hiroto Wilcox responded, "Oh, that's my cat," and neglected to elaborate further. Other accounts include Tigers shadow player Ren Morin, who is both an extra dimensional being and a cat, and is the only known player to have entered the ceiling hole and seen Ceilingfan’s back half. He has stated that Ceilingfan was ‘exceedingly polite’.
