In the postseason, the Breath Mints were seeded 3rd in the Mild League, and lost 2-3 versus the Charleston Shoe Thieves in the first round Division Series.

Following Day X, Jessica Telephone fell to the Breath Mints from THE SHELLED ONE'S PODS, and former Breath Mint Boyfriend Monreal was Released from the Hall Stars and from the ILB.

The Breath Mints won 2 blessings in the Election, granting Marquez Clark, Grey Alvarado, Stew Briggs, Rodriguez Internet, and Hewitt Best the Repeating modification, and calling up Helga Washington from the Shadows, sending back Marquez Clark in exchange. Additionally, the Breath Mints Shadows were boosted by 3% due to a blessing won by the Charleston Shoe Thieves.

Roster Changes

The Breath Mints experienced 10 blooddrains during Season 10:

  • On Day 10, Winnie Hess siphoned pitching ability from Yellowstone Magic’s Wyatt Glover.
  • On Day 23, Stew Briggs had their defensive ability siphoned by Dallas SteaksCory Ross to remove a Ball from the count.
  • On Day 34, Pudge Nakamoto had their defensive ability siphoned by Boston FlowersGlabe Moon, and Marco Stink had their defensive ability siphoned by Moon to add an Out to the board.
  • On Day 36, Hewitt Best and Stew Briggs had their defensive abilities siphoned by Boston Flowers’ Glabe Moon.
    • These 4 siphonings on Days 34 and 36 by Glabe Moon began a long-standing rivalry between Moon and the Breath Mints. Later, during the Coffee Cup, Moon would be Poured Over with a blend of mint and blood, a clear threat by Moon to the Breath Mints. This has not been forgotten.

Notable Games

Leach Ingram’s called shot shutout tweet.

In Season 10, some of the notable Breath Mints games were:

  • On Day 56, Breath Mints pitcher Leach Ingram pitches an uncommon shutout. Notably, this is predicted prior to the game on the Breath Mints team twitter[1]. This is Ingram’s only shutout of the season. (Watch here on Before)
  • On Day 83, Grey Alvarado hits a single and steals all the way to the Fifth Base. (Watch here on Before)
  • On Day 105, the Breath Mints are 1 out away from sweeping the Charleston Shoe Thieves for their first postseason series win, until pitcher PolkaDot Zavala allows 3 runs. The Breath Mints then lose the following 2 games, ending their playoff run. (Watch here on Before)

Note: Despite Shadow Ban Together apparently triggering prior to Hidden Power, Marquez Clark received the 3% shadows boost instead of Helga Washington. This bug was never resolved, and Clark additionally received Repeating from Rogue Waves.
