Season 1: Blessing in Disguise
+
*1#Election Results
Finishing in third in their division with a record of 47-52 after a valiant effort in the first Blaseball season, the Breath Mints did not foresee how the first round of Blessings would alter their team forever.
+
**The Breath Mints won the 1#Blessings blessing, maximizing the pitching stats of Polkadot Patterson.
 +
**The Baltimore Crabs then won the 1#Blessings blessing, stealing Patterson from the Breath Mints and sending back Winnie Hess in exchange.
 +
**A 1#Mystery Blessings also blessed Hess, improving their pitching from 0.

Successfully winning the Max Out Pitcher Blessing, they saw one of their two beloved PolkaDots, Patterson, undergo a magical transformation from zero stars to five stars. The team and their fans were overjoyed. But this was not to last. The Baltimore Crabs won the Steal Best Pitcher Blessing, and promptly stole the now-superior PolkaDot, sending in exchange their own zero-star pitcher Winnie Hess.
+
*2#Election Results
 +
**The Breath Mints were one of 4 teams affected by the 2#Decrees decree, granting them a fourth strike for the following season.
 +
**The Breath Mints won the 2#Blessings blessing, improving baserunning by 15%.
 +
**The Breath Mints also won the 2#Blessings blessing, maximizing the pitching stats of Axel Trololol.

Now free from the stinky air of the Crabitat, Hess filled their lungs with fresh, fresh air and exhaled, for the first time in over 100 days, fresh breath. The minty aroma of Kansas City revealed Winnie's true potential, transforming them from a zero to a 2.5 star pitcher - the locker-room leader the Mints needed to face season two with renewed vigor.
+
*3#Election Results
 +
**The Breath Mints won the 3#Blessings blessing, randomizing the hitting stats of Rodriguez Internet, Grey Alvarado, and Eduardo Ingram.
 +
**The Breath Mints also won 3#Blessings blessing, improving defense by 15%.
 +
**The Chicago Firefighters won the 3#Blessings blessing, stealing Axel Trololol from the Breath Mints and sending back Atlas Guerra in exchange.

Season 2: A Regular Old Guy... For Now
+
*4#Election Results
In the following Season 2, the Kansas City Breath Mints went 41-58. Following a second season where the Mints placed in the bottom four, fan-organized voting (anecdotally referred to as The Process) supported by a litany of statistical tools and psy-ops strategies begat outcomes that could hardly be better for our fresh players.
+
**All teams were effected by the 4#Decrees decree. This resulted in Alternates of Rodriguez Internet and Oscar Vaughan.
 +
**The Breath Mints won the 4#Blessings blessing, improving pitching by 13%.

First, the Fourth Strike decree passed, granting an arcane rule-change to the hitters of the KCBMs that is sure to bring them straight into the postseason. Then, spirits from the Wind Realm (the Wind Sprints blessing) visited the training camp, and, pleased with what they saw, and always striving to make every plane they visit fresher, bestowed their elemental powers unto the Mints - making their baserunning increase by a whopping 15%.
+
*5#Election Results
 +
**Leagues were reshuffled due to the 5#Decrees decree. The Breath Mints were placed into the Mild High Division.
 +
**The Breath Mints won the 5#Blessings blessing, improving minimum vibes by 15%.

And finally, Axel Trololol, the Mints' very own regular old guy who loves cars and beers - and who hides a dark prehensile secret - suddenly came one step closer to his dream of himself becoming a car, by having his pitching arm replaced with a Literal Arm Cannon. Pressed for comment, Axel said "Actually my name's Alex".
+
*6#Election Results
 +
**The Breath Mints won the 6#Blessings blessing, arranging their lineup in order of Idolatry.
 +
**The Breath Mints also won the 6#Blessings blessing, improving speed by 15%.

Season 3
+
*7#Election Results
In Season 3, the Mints ended at 49-50. As a result of the end-of-season elections, the Mints gained the blessings The Rack (defensive increase) and Summoning Circle, which randomized the hitting attributes of Rodriguez Internet, Grey Alvarado, and Eduardo Ingram.
+
**The Breath Mints were targeted by the 7#Decrees decree, denying their ability to win blessings for the season.
 +
**The Breath Mints received Targeted Shame for the following season as a result of the Hawai'i Fridays' 7#Blessings blessing.

More notably, resident 5-star pitcher Axel Trololol was sent to the Chicago Firefighters, where he will fulfill his dream of becoming a fire truck. In exchange, Chicago sent back Atlas Guerra, reuniting them with their sibling Eizabeth Guerra.
+
*8#Election Results
 +
**The Breath Mints won the 8#Blessings blessing, adding Mooney Doctor II to the rotation and sending Atlas Guerra to the Shadows.
 +
**The Mexico City Wild Wings won the 8#Blessings blessing, swapping the Breath Mints into the Mild Low Division as a result.

Notable Games
+
*9#Election Results
 +
**All teams were effected by the 9#Decrees decrees. Winnie Hess gained the Siphon modification, Mooney Doctor II gained the Friend of Crows modification, and Rodriguez Internet gained the Fire Eater modification.
 +
**The Breath Mints received a Fifth Base for the following season as a result of the Baltimore Crabs' 9#Blessings blessing, and received Targeted Shame for the following season as a result of the Boston Flowers' 9#Blessings blessing.

*Stealing From Thieves (Season 3, Day 57, Game 3) - After reaching a near-hopeless point differential of 10-3 against the Charleston Shoe Thieves, the rogue incineration of Thieve's pitcher Matteo Prestige led to a 2-run home run by Boyfriend Monreal, kicking off a stirring rally from the Mints offense. After sitting at 15-15 at the bottom of the 8th inning, the Mints ended the game, and the day, with a Grand Shame. Final Score: 21-16 Mints.
+
*10#Election Results
 +
**The Breath Mints won the 10#Blessings blessing, granting the Repeating modification to Marquez Clark, Stew Briggs, Grey Alvarado, Rodriguez Internet, and Hewitt Best.
 +
**The Breath Mints also won the 10#Blessings blessing, calling up Helga Washington to the lineup and sending Marquez Clark to the Shadows.
 +
**The Charleston Shoe Thieves won the 10#Blessings blessing, boosting the Breath Mints' Shadows by 3% as a result.
 +
 +
*11#Election Results
 +
**The Breath Mints were assigned the XIII Arcana.

Season 4: The Reverb
+
*12#Election Results
The Mints ended Season 4 at 48-51, at 13th in the league and 4th in the Lawful Good. They were granted the blessing Non-Dominant Arms, which buffed their pitching rotation by 13%.
+
**The Breath Mints received 12#Wills will, increasing the stats of Pudge Nakamoto from 6.4.
 +
**The Breath Mints then received the 12#Wills will, giving Nakamoto the Roamin' modification, after which they wandered to the Charleston Shoe Thieves.
 +
**The Mexico City Wild Wings received the 12#Wills will, stealing Jessica Telephone from the Breath Mints and sending back Joshua Watson in exchange.

Additionally, Rodriguez Internet and Oscar Vaughan had their stats randomized due to the passing of the Alternative Reality decree. Both players’ star ratings were slightly lowered, a disappointing--but salvageable--hit. Due to this dimension interference, Rod.net’s url was changed to Rod.com, as he began developing advertisements. Oscar Vaughan seemed to have split himself in two, most likely to maximize his time at home with his husband.
+
*13#Election Results
 +
**The Breath Mints benefited from the 13#Decrees decree, receiving three wills instead of two.
 +
**The Breath Mints received the 13#Wills will, stealing Jessica Telephone from the Mexico City Wild Wings and sending back Eizabeth Guerra in exchange.
 +
**The Breath Mints also received the 13#Wills will, giving Stew Briggs the Roamin' modification, after which they wandered to the Houston Spies.
 +
**Lastly, the Breath Mints received the 13#Wills will, stealing the newly-resurrected Sutton Picklestein from the Boston Flowers and sending back Lenny Spruce in exchange. However, Picklestein's Returned modification triggered immediately thereafter, sending Picklestein back to the Hall of Flame and pulling Marquez Clark off the Breath Mints' bench as a replacement.

Season 5: The Horse Era
+
*14#Election Results
The Mints ended Season 5 at 51-48, barely missing the playoffs, being tied at 4th in the Good League with the Dallas Steaks. As the Steaks are ahead of the Mints in Divine Favor, the Mints were left behind in Party Time as the Steaks advanced to playoffs. Nonetheless, the Mints ended the season with more than 50 wins for the first time.
+
**The Meadow received the Crime Scene modifier as part of The Investigation.
 +
**The Breath Mints received the 14#Wills will, sending Grey Alvarado to the Shadows in exchange for Kina Larsen.
 +
**The Breath Mints also received the 14#Wills will, increasing the stats of Hewitt Best from 16.4.
 +
**The Mexico City Wild Wings received the 14#Wills will, stealing Joshua Watson from the Breath Mints and sending back Eizabeth Guerra in exchange.

The season had a lot of good games for the Mints, including a sweep of the New York Millennials, winning three games in a row on Day 46, 47, and 48, and a 8-0 game against the Chicago Firefighters on Day 93, scoring a whopping seven runs in the span of two minutes on the top of the 8th inning.
+
*15#Election Results
 +
**The Breath Mints received the 15#Wills will, trading Oscar Vaughan to the New York Millennials in exchange for Uncle Plasma (who had briefly been in the Breath Mints' Shadows earlier in the season).
 +
**The Breath Mints also received the and the 15#Wills will, increasing Leach Ingram's pitching ability at the cost of some of their baserunning.

Season 6: The Death Era
+
*16#Election Results
The Mints ended Season 6 at 55-44, making it to the playoffs as the 3rd seed of the Mild League. They lost to the Hades Tigers 3-2 in the quarterfinals.
+
**The Breath Mints received the 16#Wills will, increasing Rodriguez Internet's hitting ability at the cost of some of their pitching.

 +
**The Yellowstone Magic then won the 17#Blessings blessing, stealing Wheeler from the Breath Mints with no replacement.
 +
**The Breath Mints won the 17#Blessings blessing, calling up Hierophantic Foible from the Shadows to the lineup.

Season 8
The Kansas City Breath Mints are a Blaseball team in the Chaotic Good division of the Good Conference. They were a part of Internet League Blaseball since Season AA until being incinerated on Season β24, Day 3. They then returned from the Hall of Flame, reached the Vault, before Blaseball was consumed by the Black Hole (Black Hole), before finally returning in Fall Ball. They previously played in the Lawful Good Division of the Good League and then the Mild Low division of the Mild League.

COMMUNITY REPORTS
The remainder of this article contains lore created collaboratively by the Blaseball community.

The Breath Mints' home ballpark is an open meadow on the outskirts of town. They formerly played their home games at the original Kansas City FreshDome. During the Expansion Era, Managemint had the open meadow on the outskirts of town officially named the Kansas City FreshDome, for "Tax Purposes". Fans find this incredibly confusing, most electing to simply refer to the ballpark as The Meadow.

Somewhat unusually, the Breath Mints do not have genuine pitchers on their roster. All of their pitchers are actually batters who decided to help out on the mound. The fans think that's just great.
