Season 9 was historic for the Fridays, who earned a then-record-setting speedrun to elimination from the postseason and into Party Time. Despite this, the Fridays, alongside the Firefighters, were selected for the Postseason due to the Wild Cards decree, marking the Fridays first recorded postseason appearance in the Discipline Era.

Season Overview

This season was historic for the Fridays and for the League, with the Fridays setting records that lasted even into the Expansion Era. Aside from the earliest entry into Party Time, this season's Fridays also took then-records for the longest losing streak (17) and most parties in one season (16). The "Historic Season 9 Partytime Speedrun" was immortalized in song. Despite these feats, the Fridays were selected for the Postseason as Wild Cards, where they lost to the Hades Tigers.

With the appearence of The Shelled One and the battle against THE SHELLED ONE'S PODS, currently shelled Friday and league darling York Silk was taken from the team on Day X to do battle on the side of the Discipline Era's antagonist.
