Season 4 saw the Fridays perform near the bottom of their league. The Fridays were one of the teams most affected by the Waveback Event, with original Friday Thomas England erased from existence and with major implications for new player Sixpack Dogwalker.

Season Overview

The Fridays played unremarkable blaseball this season, with one Feedback swap with the Tacos. The story of the season was the Waveback Event, resulting from real-world data loss of the Blaseball servers. When the effects of hours of games had to be manually rewritten, the incineration of Thomas England (and appearance of replacement Sixpack Dogwalker) was the most major player change that occurred in the period of lost data. Because the simulation of England's incineration could not be replicated by developers as they returned the site to what would have been at the end of the lost data period, Dogwalker overwrote England rather than replaced them via Incineration, with England's stats untouched and with Dogwalker retaining England's unique site ID. This implied that, as far as the game was concerned, England never existed and had, in fact, always been Sixpack Dogwalker. For this reason, while England was incinerated, many fans consider the player to have been "Wavebacked" instead - erased from existence, a different fate entirely. In the event's wake, Sixpack Dogwalker would obtain a unique item called Bangers and Smash, a reference to a common British dish, bangers and mash.
