COMMUNITY REPORTS
The remainder of this article contains lore created collaboratively by the Blaseball community.

Background

Gonzales is physicist, specialized in aerodynamics, who is unaware of how he arrived in the Wild Wings' roster. However, he has made the best of it and has plied his immense knowledge of physics to pitching. As a result, he almost never walks a batter.

Gonzales is very supportive of his follow players, though he has been known to start drama with management, as he has made inquiries as to the nature and authority of the Wild Wings Legal Team and Gastronomic Conjurers Guild, as well as the ultimate identity of Guy Flieri.

Gonzales wants to return back to his home, but he has grown attached to his fellow teammates and just wants them to be okay.

Personal Life

Not much is known about Gonzales's family in his home dimension, as whenever he attempts to talk about them in any detail, everyone else simply parses his words as static, which increases in both distortion and volume the more distressed he gets about his inability to communicate this information. In addition, the only photograph he has of his family, which he keeps on his person at all times, has been warped by temporal anomalies so as to become completely incomprehensible. Despite this, Gonzales has been able to communicate that he is married with multiple children, and that he misses his family very, very, much.

Currently, Gonzales resides in a medium-sized apartment, which he has shared with a variety of teammates including Sosa Hayes, who lived with Gonzales for the duration of his time on the wings; Joshua Watson, who moved in without notice upon his transferal from the Firefighters; Brock Watson, who moved in with Joshua upon joining the Wild Wings roster; and for a short period of time, NaN, who stayed with Gonzales for the duration of his stay on the Wings. This, combined with the frequency at which members of the team unexpectedly invite themselves over to the place, has led to Gonzales's apartment becoming a frequent location for the team to spend time after games.

Alternate Reality

At the end of Season 4, Gonzales got his wish and was transported back to his home dimension thanks to the Alternate Reality Decree, and in his place stood a slightly older version of Gonzales, with markedly greater pitching prowess. When Gonzales was transported back home he found that no time had passed since the day he arrived on the Wild Wings, and he happily returned to family life, and to his field of study: aerodynamics. And yet, he found himself missing a different sort of field. Unable to partake in Blaseball in his home dimension, he applied his new understanding of Blaseball to a similar but nevertheless distinct ball game, quickly going pro. After several years of hard work juggling family life, physics lectures and experiments and playing [redacted] full time, Gonzales is about to pitch in the biggest game of his career, only to take the mound and be transported back to the Wild Wings 40-man roster, seconds after he was transported home. He's baaaaaaack!

As Gonzales is from an Alternate future, he knows next to nothing about the future of Blaseball's timeline. However, presumably due to issues in temporal relocation, he has obtained small snippets of potential understanding about Blaseball's future through minor out-of-context pieces of information. While this information has proven practically worthless in most occasions, it is presumed that this is the reason that despite spending most of the Season 7 semifinals in a near-incoherent state, Gonzales was able to take action to physically restrain teammate Axel Cardenas from running onto the field several seconds before Miguel Wheeler's incineration actually occured.
