The Frozen God of Baltimore

Baltimore was once home to the Olde One, a giant crab-god of Chesapeake Bay, but many years ago she and the rest of the city froze over in ice. It is unknown what caused the freeze - though many have theories, or have even taken credit. The year was 1983 when the god of change stopped changing, and the city around her fell into a loop of it's own. Residents found that when they awoke the next morning, everything was back to how it was the day before. Attempts to leave where abruptly stopped when the sun rose on the next morning, and they arrived back in bed.

There were many ideas around why this loop persisted and it's relationship to the frozen god. Some believe that the city freezing in time is what froze the god, while others believe the god being frozen is what trapped the city. One thing is certain however, and that Baltimore is trapped in an eternal winter and the people that call it home have gotten very strange in time's absence.

The Baltimore Crabs

The Baltimore Crabs consist of a wide array of players with their own varied and complicated relationships with the city itself. With one of the only ways to exit the city being through the intervention of another god, many would jump at the chance to leave and use the team to do it. The team is known to be terrible guests at away games, since it has been a very long time since they have worried about things not resetting the next day.

The late season death of Crabs batter Ella Goodman shook the team and spurred on her co-host, Eliot Schofield, to take the plunge and try to pull the city back into time the only way anyone though was possible - by killing the Olde One.

At the end of the season it was Monique Flowchart, the last self proclaimed executor of the Olde One, who was sent into the Microphone to be Charged.

When games ended the team took advantage of Flowchart's absence to strike a blow to the Olde One in hopes of freeing the city. It is unknown what occurred afterwards, or if the team succeeded.
